The Role An exciting opportunity exists for a motivated and commercially minded Accountant to join a high-performing finance team within a large and complex organisation. Reporting to a Head of Business Partnering, you will play a key role in supporting operational leaders by providing financial insights, analysis and decision-making support. Key responsibilities include: Partner with business leaders to provide meaningful financial insights and support decision-making Lead budgeting, forecasting, and monthly reporting cycles Deliver high-quality financial analysis, including business cases, costings, and investment evaluations Support month-end processes including journals, reconciliations, and variance analysis Prepare clear and concise reporting for senior stakeholders Monitor balance sheet items including accruals, provisions, and prepayments Identify and implement process improvements across finance and reporting Build financial capability within the business by supporting non-finance stakeholders The Candidate You are a proactive and curious finance professional who enjoys working closely with stakeholders and translating financial information into meaningful business insights. You will bring: CA or CPA qualification (completed or currently undertaking). 2–5 years' experience in a finance, commercial analyst or business partnering role. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Advanced Excel skills and confidence working with financial systems. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. A genuine interest in developing a career in finance business partnering. The ability to build relationships and work collaboratively with non-finance stakeholders. Strong attention to detail and a willingness to learn. A proactive and positive approach to work. Experience within healthcare, aged care, NDIS, community services or other service-based organisations will be highly regarded but is not essential. Why Join?
