We are seeking an experienced Manufacturing (Fabrication) Manager to drive performance, innovation, and growth across our workshop operations. About the Role Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will take ownership of all workshop activities from quoting and planning through to execution and delivery, while leading continuous improvement and implementing modern manufacturing practices. You will play a key role in driving transformation , improving efficiency, and positioning the business for future growth through the adoption of new technologies and smarter processes. Key Responsibilities Lead, mentor and develop supervisors, tradespeople, and support staff Manage day-to-day workshop operations to optimise efficiency, productivity, and quality Oversee tendering, quoting, and project performance Drive continuous improvement initiatives , including Lean manufacturing and workflow optimisation Identify and implement automation and robotics opportunities Build and maintain strong client relationships while identifying growth opportunities Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards Manage budgets, labour utilisation, and operational risk. Here’s what you’ll need to thrive in this role: To be successful in this role, you will bring: Proven experience in a Manufacturing(Fabrication) Manager role Strong leadership capability with a focus on team development and cultural improvement Solid understanding of fabrication, welding, and mechanical processes Demonstrated experience with Lean manufacturing or continuous improvement A genuine interest in technology, automation, and robotics in manufacturing Commercial acumen with experience managing budgets, productivity and project delivery Ability to build strong client relationships and contribute to business growth Excellent communication, planning, and problem-solving skills Strong systems, reporting, and operational analysis capability.
