The Role We're seeking an Orchard Assistant to join a busy horticulture operation in Hillston, NSW. This role is hands-on and varied, working across orchard tasks, machinery operation, and general farm support. You'll be part of a hardworking, safety-focused team in a physical, outdoor environment. Key Responsibilities In this role, you'll support orchard operations and contribute to the care and maintenance of young trees. Tasks include: Check and monitor young trees across orchard blocks Assist with general orchard and farm duties Operate mules, ATVs, and florry vehicles as required Follow farm maps and instructions to complete tasks accurately Support site operations and maintain safe work practices Benefits Competitive pay rate of $31.19 per hour penalty rates Stable role for 6 months with potential for ongoing employment Flexible roster with up to 38 hours per week and additional hours during peak periods Opportunity to gain hands-on experience in orchard operations Work outdoors as part of a supportive and safety-focused team Your Skills & Experience We're looking for reliable candidates who bring a strong work ethic and practical farm skills.
