What you’ll do (but not limited to): Build and maintain relationships with Aboriginal businesses, community groups, and social enterprises Engage with Traditional Owner groups to support respectful and meaningful collaboration Contribute to tender strategies and plans relating to Aboriginal participation and social procurement Track and report on social inclusion outcomes including employment, training, and participation Support delivery teams to meet and exceed social inclusion targets and requirements Connect training organisations (TAFE, RTOs, GTOs, universities) with project opportunities Facilitate pathways for apprentices, trainees, and undergraduates Support the implementation of Reconciliation Action Plan initiatives Coordinate and contribute to culturally significant events such as NAIDOC Week Provide guidance and support to project teams on social inclusion practices What you’re good at: Experience in social inclusion, community engagement, or stakeholder roles within infrastructure or construction Understanding of Federal and State social procurement and inclusion frameworks Experience working with Aboriginal businesses, communities, or organisations Exposure to social enterprise and not-for-profit sectors Proven ability to support employment or training pathways for diverse or disadvantaged cohorts Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship-building capability Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively Passion for driving meaningful social outcomes in major projects We’re committed to building a diverse and inclusive team We welcome applicants of all cultures, backgrounds and identities; people with disabilities, members of the LGBTIQ community, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, and current or former members of the Australian Defence Force, including veterans and reservists.
