A stone's throw from Wilson's Prom A great place to work on a landmark project in the marine civil sector! You'll be stepping into a Site Administrator role on a project where the site changes daily, priorities move quickly, and the people around you rely on accurate information to keep the build moving forward. The project itself is a $110 million marine/civil construction project, which is the first of its kind in Australia and has the potential to lead to more projects nationally. You'll be supporting the project team with everything from site documentation and drawing management through to subcontractor coordination, reporting, mobilisation support and keeping internal systems updated properly. Some days will be structured. Others won't. The people who do well in this environment are the ones who can adapt quickly without losing control of the detail. You won't be hidden away in a quiet office detached from site activity. This role is fully embedded within the project team, working alongside people delivering major construction works in real time. If you enjoy being around the pace and pressure of site life, you'll fit in well here. The ideal background is someone who has already worked on large commercial, civil or infrastructure-style projects where logistics, sequencing and communication were critical. Construction experience is essential because this environment moves too quickly for someone learning from scratch. The contract is initially 12 months, though there is strong potential for ongoing work as the wider program continues. Salary is up to $120k super and a performance-based completion bonus. For candidates who don't live locally, there is a DIDO option that includes accommodation and meals.
