We are seeking a Senior Systems Engineer – Azure DevOps to design, implement, and pioneer secure, scalable, and automated cloud infrastructure solutions across enterprise environments. In this pivotal role, you will be the driving force behind our Azure platform engineering, architecting sophisticated CI/CD pipelines, championing Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and uplifting system reliability. In this role you will: Design and advance secure, highly available Azure-based infrastructure and platform capabilities (Landing Zones, shared services) aligned with CAF and robust governance frameworks. Develop and optimize sophisticated CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps to ensure seamless, reliable application and infrastructure deployments. Implement and maintain enterprise-grade IaC using Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates to ensure repeatable, governed environments. Partner with application, security, architecture, and operations teams to embed DevSecOps practices and accelerate delivery velocity. Provide mentorship and guidance to engineers and project teams, fostering a culture of continuous learning and cloud engineering best practices. Monitor system health, performance, and cost management, proactively resolving complex infrastructure and deployment issues across multi-tenant environments. About You Extensive experience in IT infrastructure, with a clear track record of operating at a senior level within Cloud, Systems Engineering, or DevOps domains. Deep, hands-on mastery of Microsoft Azure, including core infrastructure, identity, networking, storage, monitoring, and security services. Strong proficiency with Azure DevOps pipelines, Git repositories, and release management, alongside expert scripting skills using PowerShell, Azure CLI, and YAML. Solid exposure to containerisation and orchestration technologies, ideally including Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS). Thorough understanding of multi-subscription, multi-tenant environments, hybrid networking, and regulated workloads. Exceptional problem-solving skills with a proven capability to translate complex technical concepts into clear documentation and mentor junior peers. Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience. Preferred Qualifications: Microsoft Certifications such as Azure DevOps Engineer Expert, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, or Azure Administrator Associate. Familiarity with GitOps, policy as code, and advanced observability tools like Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights. Working knowledge of Windows and Linux server administration.
