Our Opportunity We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Payroll Specialist to join our not-for-profit organisation at our Head Office in Sutherland. This role is responsible for processing end-to-end payroll for the organisation on a fortnightly basis, ensuring accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance at every step. Working within TechnologyOne, you will also provide responsive HR support for payroll enquiries and contribute to a positive employee experience through accurate and timely payroll administration. Key Responsibilities Process end-to-end payroll for the entire organisation on a fortnightly basis with a high level of accuracy. Maintain payroll records and ensure data integrity, confidentiality, and compliance with relevant legislation and internal processes. Manage payroll processing through TechnologyOne and support ongoing system accuracy. Respond to employee payroll enquiries in a timely, professional, and helpful manner. Provide HR support related to pay, leave, and payroll administration. Review, reconcile, and validate payroll data to identify and resolve discrepancies. Work closely with the People and Culture team and relevant stakeholders to ensure smooth payroll operations across the organisation. Contribute to continuous improvement in payroll processes and controls. About You Demonstrated experience in payroll processing, ideally across a complex or multi-site organisation. Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in all aspects of work. Reliable, organised, and able to meet deadlines in a fortnightly payroll cycle. Experience providing HR or payroll support for employee pay enquiries. Strong communication skills and the ability to handle sensitive information with professionalism and discretion. Experience using TechnologyOne or a similar payroll system. Desirable: Strong knowledge of the SCHADS Award and the Children’s Services Award.
