6-month maternity cover contract - immediate start! 4 day working week - supports flexible lifestyle arrangements Exciting and challenging projects involved with strong stakeholder exposure ABOUT THE ROLE The purpose of the Business Analyst is to support SG Fleet Group by understanding customer and business needs, analysing and documenting requirements, and ensuring these are clearly communicated to architects, developers, testers, and other delivery stakeholders. The role works collaboratively across Solution Delivery to translate business objectives into effective, fit-for-purpose solutions that achieve organisational goals and deliver strong business outcomes. TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES Collaborate with Product Owners and business SMEs to understand customer needs, business drivers and priorities. Participate in workshops to ensure stakeholders share a clear understanding of scope, requirements, and objectives. Break down business problems and designs into epics, features, and user stories with clear acceptance criteria and supporting artefacts. Contribute to early identification and communication of project risks, issues, and dependencies. Work with project teams to design feasible, viable solutions and support Agile ceremonies such as backlog refinement and sprint planning. Analyse current-state processes and document future-state process improvements using process maps. Support delivery by assisting the scrum team with analysis, testing, and development activities as required. SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE Tertiary qualification in Business, Finance, IT or similar field or relevant experience. Self-motivated with the ability to work effectively in ambiguous and fast-paced environments. Demonstrated experience with IT applications and software delivery projects. Experience in gathering, documenting, and managing requirements, epics, and user stories. Proficient in stakeholder engagement, negotiation, collaboration and relationship management. Solid planning, and organizational skills. Strong analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving capabilities. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Experience working within Agile software development environments. Experience designing and implementing processes. Knowledge of Fleet Management, Novated Leasing and/or Financial Services is ideal. Familiarity with Agile tools including Jira, Confluence, Visio, Miro. Experience in facilitating workshops, meetings, and discussions to drive alignment.
