The Opportunity This role offers the chance to work on large-scale, high-impact energy and infrastructure projects , delivering advanced power systems analysis, grid connection support, and strategic advice across the National Electricity Market. As a Senior Engineer, you will play a key role in both technical delivery and client engagement , while supporting project leadership and mentoring junior team members. Key Responsibilities Power Systems Analysis & Studies Deliver advanced power system studies , including load flow, dynamic simulations, and system performance analysis Undertake studies such as fault level, voltage, protection, and harmonic assessments Translate technical outputs into clear, actionable insights for clients Contribute to projects across renewable energy, storage, and hybrid systems Grid Connection & Advisory Support clients in navigating grid connection processes and regulatory frameworks Provide technical input into connection strategies and challenges Apply knowledge of electricity networks and market operation within the NEM Project Delivery & Client Engagement Lead or contribute to project delivery across multiple engagements Build and maintain trusted client relationships Ensure high-quality outputs are delivered on time and to standard Leadership & Mentorship Mentor and support the development of junior engineers Contribute to a culture of technical excellence and continuous development Provide leadership within project teams where required What We’re Looking For Technical Experience 5 years’ experience in power systems analysis within the energy sector Proficiency with tools such as: PSSE PSCAD DIgSILENT PowerFactory Strong understanding of: Electricity networks Energy markets and the National Electricity Market (NEM) Experience with grid connection processes and regulatory requirements Professional Skills Strong analytical and structured problem-solving capability Ability to deliver high-quality technical reports and outputs Experience engaging with clients and stakeholders Collaborative mindset with the ability to work across multi-disciplinary teams Mindset & Fit Passion for solving complex energy challenges Interest in working in a consulting and advisory environment Proactive, solutions-driven, and intellectually curious High level of integrity and professionalism Why Join?
