MAIN DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: · Inspecting, diagnosing, and repairing mechanical and electrical faults in electric bicycles. · Repairs or replaces defective components such as motors, gears, bearings, brake assemblies, and electrical wiring. · Servicing and replacing small electric motors, drive systems, controllers, batteries, braking, and transmission components. · Conducting preventive maintenance, performance testing, and safety inspections; · Utilizing specialized diagnostic tools and technical manuals to identify faults and implement corrective measures. · Assembling, calibrating, and quality-testing electric bicycles prior to customer delivery. · Testing and adjusting mechanical parts drivetrain (crank set, chain, and gears (e.g., a 7-speed Shimano shifter and derailleur) that transfer power from the rider's legs to the rear wheel. · Maintains, tests and repairs electric motors, drivetrains, braking systems and other mechanical and electrical components of electric bicycles. · Performing scheduled maintenance services such as engine tune-ups, clean sensors that detecting pedalling to adjust torque. SKILLS & EXPERIENCE: · At least 1 years of relevant full-time experience, in addition to formal qualifications · Basic understanding of circuit design, power management, and control systems. · Experience with microcontrollers and embedded systems programming (e.g., Arduino, PIC, STM32). · Familiarity with battery management systems (BMS) and motor control. · Proficiency in using electronic design automation (EDA) tools (e.g., Altium, Eagle). · Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. · Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. · Passion for sustainable transportation and electric mobility. · Minimum formal qualifications (Certificate III or IV in Mechanical Diagnosis.
