As a Business Partner, you’ll step away from direct line management and focus on driving performance through influence, insight and strategic support. With no direct reports, this role offers increased flexibility and the opportunity to focus on what you do best, lifting outcomes, solving complex challenges and enabling leaders to succeed. About the Role Reporting to the General Manager – IEA/TTW, you will operate across a national network of service partners, working with multiple providers to drive performance uplift and improved client outcomes. This is a senior, system-level role where you will leverage your leadership experience to influence outcomes at scale. You’ll work closely with Regional Managers and senior leaders to: Analyse performance across the network, identifying trends, risks and opportunities Implement targeted improvement strategies to drive sustainable results Strengthen capability and embed consistent, high-performing practices across providers Unlike traditional leadership roles, this position allows you to remain closely connected to performance outcomes while stepping away from day-to-day operational management and direct reports. It offers the opportunity to influence strategically, contribute to continuous improvement, and work flexibly across a national footprint. Key Responsibilities In this role, you will: Leverage your previous experience as a Regional Manager to support, coach and influence leaders to drive improved business performance Work across a portfolio of service partners to uplift outcomes through insight, guidance and targeted support, rather than direct operational control Analyse performance data at a network level to identify trends, variation, risks and opportunities for improvement Partner with providers to design and implement tailored performance improvement strategies aligned to their operating context Provide practical, experience-based coaching to strengthen leadership capability, decision-making and accountability Apply a systems-thinking approach to diagnose root causes of underperformance and embed sustainable, scalable solutions Translate complex data into clear, actionable insights to support decision-making at both operational and senior leadership levels Facilitate workshops, forums and capability-building sessions to drive consistency and continuous improvement across the network Contribute to strategic initiatives and projects focused on innovation, efficiency and improved service delivery outcomes Build strong, trusted relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners across the employment services sector Monitor performance and support compliance with contractual requirements, proactively identifying and mitigating risks About You You are an experienced leader with DES, IEA experience, who has held accountability for multi-site or regional performance and are now looking to apply that expertise in a broader, more strategic role. You bring: Proven experience as a Regional Manager (or equivalent), with accountability for performance, risk and service delivery Experience within Disability Employment Services (DES), Workforce Australia, Inclusive Employment Australia (IEA) or similar employment services programs (Essential) A strong track record of improving outcomes across multiple sites or contracts The ability to influence, coach and partner with senior leaders to drive results A desire to step away from direct people management while continuing to make a meaningful impact A strategic mindset, with the ability to translate data into practical, actionable insights Highly regarded: Engagement with sector bodies such as Disability Employment Australia (DEA) Professional recognition or accreditation (e.g. IEP Fellow or working toward Fellowship), demonstrating commitment to professional standards and sector development What’s on Offer Fully remote role, offering genuine flexibility No direct reports—focus on influence, strategy and performance Opportunity to leverage your leadership experience in a new and impactful way National exposure and the ability to drive change at scale Travel required approximately 2–3 days per month Fixed-term full-time contract through to June 2029 Competitive salary mobile allowance Salary packaging up to $15,900 per annum Additional wellbeing leave (13 extra days annually) Home office setup allowance Health and wellbeing allowance Corporate health insurance discounts CoAct is a non‑profit organisation dedicated to empowering everyday Australians through essential employment services and community activation programs.
