Job description AO4 HR Generalist (Recruitment) Government Department | Brisbane CBD | Temporary Opportunity Are you an experienced HR professional, with government experience with a passion for recruitment and delivering high-quality customer experiences? We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented AO4 HR Generalist (Recruitment) to join a dynamic government team supporting end-to-end talent acquisition services. About the Role In this role, you will play a key part in supporting recruitment activities across the department. Working within a collaborative HR team, you will provide operational and advisory support to hiring managers while ensuring recruitment processes are compliant, efficient, and candidate focused. Key Responsibilities Coordinate and manage end-to-end recruitment activities across multiple business units Give advice to managers, assisting with the interpretation of policies and procedures Low level administration duties Day to day enquiries from multiple teams Prepare and post job advertisements in line with government frameworks Provide advice to hiring managers on recruitment processes and best practice Screen applications and coordinate shortlisting activities Organise interviews, including scheduling, panel support and documentation Conduct reference checks and support onboarding processes Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with policy and legislation Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within HR and recruitment You will bring: Demonstrated experience in recruitment or HR coordination Knowledge of HR practices, ideally within government or a regulated environment Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines High attention to detail and administrative accuracy If you are interested, please apply now, any questions please call Jacqui 07 3239 2500 Applicants new to DFP may be asked to provide additional information including work rights status via a survey link – if requested, we ask that you provide this information in order to expedite your application.
