Job description Lead Business Analyst Location: Subiaco | Full-Time 8–9-month temp contract with potential extension About the Role We’re looking for an experienced Lead Business Analyst to play a key role in shaping and delivering strategic initiatives within a complex and evolving environment. This is a senior position where you’ll lead business analysis activities, influence decision-making, and drive outcomes that deliver real value across the organisation. You’ll work closely with stakeholders across all levels to translate business needs into actionable solutions, while contributing to long-term strategic objectives and continuous improvement initiatives. Key Responsibilities Drive the successful delivery of business initiatives by translating business needs, quantifying impacts, and supporting implementation and integration activities Lead end-to-end business requirements gathering, including planning, analysis, documentation, communication, and validation Develop and contribute to strategic roadmaps supporting incremental delivery of long-term objectives Facilitate workshops, meetings, and stakeholder engagement sessions to identify needs, clarify objectives, and generate innovative solutions Conduct high-level research and analysis of global trends, emerging technologies, and industry innovation to inform business strategy Provide expert advice and guidance using strategic business analysis techniques to support initiative planning, process reviews, and solution design Collaborate with internal stakeholders to scope and develop concept proposals and feasibility assessments Analyse complex business problems and deliver insights and recommendations to drive effective solutions Build and maintain strong relationships with a broad range of stakeholders, including suppliers, consultants, and industry partners Champion and embed continuous improvement practices within a collaborative, multi-disciplinary team Contribute to a high-performance culture through leadership, innovation, and best practice methodologies About You You are a seasoned Business Analyst with a strategic mindset and a strong ability to influence outcomes in complex environments. Essential Criteria Proven experience as a Business Analyst within a mid-tier or complex organisation Demonstrated expertise in applying strategic business analysis methodologies to solve business problems and deliver value Strong experience evaluating project and program performance, driving continuous improvement, and fostering high-performing teams Exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to build relationships across all levels Highly developed analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complexity into clear recommendations Why Join Us?
