Located in the beautiful town of Bendemeer, NSW, our hotel is known for its delicious meals and warm hospitality. As a Cook, you will play a key role in ensuring our guests have a memorable dining experience. Key Responsibilities: - Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to menu specifications - Ensure all food is prepared and presented to the highest quality and in a timely manner - Monitor and maintain stock levels and assist with ordering supplies - Follow all food safety and hygiene standards to ensure a clean and safe kitchen environment - Collaborate with the kitchen team to create new and innovative menu items - Train and supervise kitchen staff as needed - Maintain a clean and organized kitchen at all times Requirements: - Minimum 12 months experience as a Cook in a similar role - Must have a valid food safety certificate - Strong knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks - Excellent communication and teamwork skills - Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays - Must be physically able to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 50 pounds We offer a competitive salary of $76,000 - $80,000 per annum, based on experience and qualifications.
