Due to continued business growth and increasing demand for our pool construction and renovation services, we are seeking a skilled and experienced Outdoor Pool Tiler to join our team on a full-time basis. About the Role: The successful applicant will be responsible for installing and finishing tiles for residential and commercial swimming pool projects, ensuring all work is completed to the highest quality standards and in accordance with project specifications. Key Duties and Responsibilities: • Measure and mark surfaces for tile layout. • Prepare and level surfaces for tile installation. • Cut, shape and lay ceramic, porcelain, stone and mosaic tiles. • Install swimming pool waterline tiles, coping tiles and pool surrounds. • Apply screeds, adhesives, grout, silicone and sealants. • Ensure tiles are aligned and finished to required specifications. • Perform waterproofing preparation and finishing works associated with pool tiling. • Inspect completed work to ensure quality workmanship and compliance with project requirements. • Maintain a safe and clean work environment. • Liaise with supervisors and other trades to ensure projects are completed on time. Skills and Experience Required: To be considered for this position, applicants must demonstrate: • At least 2 years of relevant tiling experience, preferably within swimming pool construction or outdoor tiling environments. • Proven experience in measuring, cutting and laying tiles to a professional standard. • Experience with pool coping, waterline tiling, pool surrounds and wet-area installations. • Knowledge of grouting, screeding, sealing and finishing techniques. • Ability to read plans and work from specifications. • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. • Current Australian Driver Licence (preferred).
