Contract Specialist Core Talent are partnering with a growing engineering and project delivery organisation supporting major projects across the energy, utilities and infrastructure sectors. We are seeking a Contract Specialist to join the project delivery team, supporting the administration and management of client and subcontractor contracts throughout the project lifecycle. This role is focused on project delivery rather than pre-contracts and would suit someone who has progressed from a Contract Administration, Procurement, Project Support or Project Controls background and is looking to further develop their career in contract management. The Role Working closely with Project Managers and key stakeholders, you will support the commercial and contractual management of projects from award through to completion. Your responsibilities will include: Administration of client and subcontractor contracts during project delivery. Preparation and management of progress claims, variations, extensions of time and contractual notices. Supporting Project Managers with contract interpretation and contractual obligations. Maintaining contract registers, project records and commercial documentation. Monitoring contractual risks and assisting with mitigation strategies. Reviewing subcontractor claims and supporting payment reconciliation activities. Assisting with contract close-out and final project documentation. About You 3-5 years' experience in Contract Administration, Contract Management, Procurement or Project Support. Experience supporting project delivery teams within construction, engineering, utilities, energy or infrastructure environments. Strong organisational skills and attention to detail. Ability to review and interpret contractual documentation. Strong communication skills with the ability to engage across project, commercial and operational teams. Candidates with a background in procurement looking to transition into contract management, or project support professionals seeking greater commercial exposure, are strongly encouraged to apply. A qualification in Law, Commerce, Business or a related discipline will be highly regarded, however practical project experience is considered equally valuable.
