Days Maintenance Fitter – FMCG Manufacturing Erskine Park Monday to Friday | Day Shift $51.50 per hour Overtime Super An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Maintenance Fitter to join a well-established FMCG manufacturer. This is a permanent day shift role offering excellent work-life balance, regular overtime opportunities, and long-term job security within a busy production environment. Working as part of a proactive maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring plant equipment operates safely, efficiently, and reliably to support production targets. The Role Carry out preventative, reactive, and breakdown maintenance across production and packaging equipment Diagnose and repair mechanical faults to minimise downtime and maximise plant reliability Perform maintenance on conveyors, pumps, motors, gearboxes, bearings, pneumatics, and associated production machinery Assist with machinery installations, upgrades, and continuous improvement projects Complete maintenance documentation and work orders through the site's maintenance system Work closely with production teams to ensure equipment performance and operational efficiency Maintain high safety and quality standards at all times About You Trade Qualified Mechanical Fitter or Fitter & Turner Previous experience within FMCG, food, beverage, packaging, pharmaceutical, or manufacturing environments Strong mechanical fault-finding and troubleshooting skills Experience working on high-speed production and packaging machinery Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, conveyors, pumps, and rotating equipment Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team Strong commitment to safety, reliability, and continuous improvement What's On Offer $51.50 per hour regular pay increases Regular overtime available Stable Monday to Friday day shift Permanent full-time opportunity Supportive maintenance and engineering team Well-established FMCG manufacturing environment Long-term career growth and development opportunities If you're an experienced Maintenance Fitter looking for a stable day shift role with a reputable FMCG manufacturer, apply now or contact Claudio on 0450 395 180 for a confidential discussion.
