The Opportunity An opportunity to join a leading Australian consumer business in a highly commercial Senior Commercial Analyst position. Reporting into senior finance leadership, you will partner closely with Sales and Marketing teams to drive business performance through insightful analysis, forecasting and commercial decision support. This role will see you evaluating commercial opportunities, assessing promotional effectiveness, supporting strategic initiatives and delivering meaningful insights that influence business outcomes. What You'll Do • Partner with Sales and Marketing leaders on commercial performance • Lead budgeting, forecasting and planning processes • Evaluate deals, tenders and commercial opportunities • Analyse promotional performance and return on investment • Deliver monthly reporting, KPIs and variance analysis • Identify risks, opportunities and performance drivers • Develop financial models and decision-support tools • Support month-end reporting and actuals accuracy • Improve reporting capability and dashboard utilisation • Drive process improvement and reporting automation initiatives What We're Looking For • CA/CPA qualified preferred • 7 years' experience in Commercial Finance, FP&A or Business Partnering • Strong commercial acumen and analytical capability • Advanced financial modelling skills • Proven stakeholder management and influencing ability • Experience supporting Sales, Marketing or Revenue functions highly regarded • Advanced Excel skills with exposure to Tableau, Power BI, Looker or similar tools • Comfortable working with large datasets and translating insights into actions • Strong communication skills and ability to simplify complex information Why You'll Love It This is a genuine commercial finance role with significant exposure to senior stakeholders and key business decisions.
