Mechanical Fitter – Workshop & Site Based Location: Brisbane Pay Rate: $55 per hour overtime Employment Type: Ongoing, long-term casual About the Role: We are seeking skilled mechanical fitters for both workshop and on-site work in the Brisbane area. This is an ongoing casual role with long-term opportunities, offering competitive pay and overtime. You will work on a variety of mechanical installations, maintenance, and repairs across commercial and industrial projects. Key Responsibilities: Assemble, maintain, and repair mechanical systems and equipment. Work safely on-site and in the workshop, following all safety procedures. Read drawings, plans, and technical manuals to complete tasks accurately. Pumps gearboxes & machinery overhaul. Troubleshoot mechanical faults and perform preventative maintenance. Collaborate with the team to meet project deadlines and quality standards. Requirements: Trade-qualified Mechanical Fitter or equivalent experience. Experience in both workshop and site-based roles. Strong mechanical skills with attention to detail. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Reliable, punctual, and committed to safety standards.
