Our country is a living landscape - our culture, heritage, laws and language are linked to the land. The area’s natural and cultural assets are managed by Mimal Rangers on behalf of and in cooperation with landowners and custodians. Under an established Healthy Country Plan, the rangers manage land, water and fire, and conduct wildlife protection, monitoring and revegetation programs, weed and feral animal control, and carry out rock art, cultural history and language projects and learning on country education programs with school children. The Opportunity In this hands-on, fast-paced role, you will: Coordinate travel, accommodation and freight for staff, contractors and visitors Ensure remote teams have timely access to vehicles, equipment and supplies Manage fleet operations including servicing, registration and maintenance Maintain and monitor asset registers, tracking usage, condition and availability Support procurement activities including sourcing quotes, purchasing and supplier coordination Work closely with rangers and operational teams to plan logistics for field activities Troubleshoot day-to-day logistics challenges and respond to changing priorities Maintain accurate records across logistics, procurement and asset systems Contribute to improving processes and implementing asset management systems Help ensure safe, compliant and efficient use of vehicles and equipment The role is based in Nightcliff, NT.
