We are currently recruiting for an experienced Flood Damage Supervisor for a council-based assignment in West Queensland, available for an immediate start and running for an initial twelve-month period. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of flood damage reconstruction works, ensuring works are completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with contractual requirements. What’s on offer Negotiable hourly rate Travel costs covered at the commencement and completion of the assignment Fully supplied vehicle and accommodation for the duration of the project Monday to Friday roster, working 10-hour days Key requirements: Proven experience in road maintenance and the delivery of flood damage reconstruction works. Knowledge of relevant legislation, including workplace health and safety and risk management. Ability to read and interpret plans and specifications along with an understanding of job costing. Experience in implementing Traffic Management, Environmental Management and Safety Management plans. Strong leadership skills with experience in the coordination of staff, contractors and resources. Relevant qualifications (e.g., Certificate III in Road Construction and Maintenance or equivalent), with local government experience highly regarded. General Construction Safety Card.
