Job details Lead sourcing, contracts, and supplier strategy across major projects Opportunity to work from WA, SA or NSW Immediate start available About the Client: Our client delivers critical engineering, asset management and support servicesproviding through-life solutions across defence, aviation and civil sectors to enhance the performance, availability and safety of complex assets and infrastructure About the Role: This role is responsible for leading procurement and supply chain activities to support successful project delivery. You will oversee sourcing strategies, contract management, and supplier performance within a defined business unit. Working closely with operations, commercial, and project teams, you will ensure procurement outcomes align with timelines, budgets, and compliance requirements while delivering value and mitigating risk. Key Responsibilities Lead sourcing strategies and contract solutions for project delivery Manage end-to-end procurement and contract lifecycle activities Oversee RFx processes, supplier selection, and negotiations Build and maintain supplier and subcontractor relationships Implement supplier performance and SRM frameworks Monitor supplier KPIs and drive performance improvements Ensure compliance with legal, governance, and regulatory requirements Identify and manage commercial and operational risks Collaborate with project and commercial teams on delivery outcomes Lead and develop a team of procurement professionals Drive continuous improvement across sourcing and contract processes Skills and Experience Strong experience in end-to-end sourcing and procurement processes Experience managing contracts in complex or project environments Proven supplier performance management and SRM capability Strong understanding of commercial, contractual, and risk management Experience working within Defence or regulated environments (desirable) Relevant qualifications in Procurement, Supply Chain, Business, or Law CIPS or ASCI membership (desirable) Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills Current drivers licence Eligible for or able to obtain NV1 Defence Security Clearance How to Apply: Click on the Apply button to submit your application or for more information please contact: WorkPac Principal Consultant: Tom Caldow on (08) 6462 1134 or Tom.Caldow@workpac.com quoting the below reference number.
