Job details Key Selling Points: Earn $44.26 per hour plus penalties Casual 10 days on / 4 days off Roster Short Description: WorkPac is currently seeking an experienced Landfill Operator to join a leading waste management operation. This hands-on position involves operating a variety of heavy machinery, maintaining landfill operations, manage waste placement, and ensuring the facility remains compliant, safe and well maintained. About Our Client: Our client designs and provides game-changing solutions that are both useful and practical for water, waste and energy management. What You Will Be Doing: Operate HR trucks with hooklift experience. Operate heavy machinery including water carts, service trucks, graders, excavators, and other earthmoving equipment is desirable. Manage and place various waste streams within designed disposal areas. Apply daily cover material, including soil and alternative cover products. Maintain safe operating practices and comply with environmental regulations. Conduct pre-start inspections and basic equipment checks. What You Will Need: Current HR Drivers Licence. Experience operating heavy machinery in a civil, mining, quarry, waste management or similar environment. Must have Current National Police Clearance (or ability to obtain). Ability to pass pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol screening. White Card Proof of Hepatitis A and B vaccinations.
