Working with both new and existing Grandcarers, the role provides tailored, culturally responsive support to families, particularly those experiencing complex circumstances. About you Hold a Tertiary Degree or Advanced Diploma in Community Services or a related discipline, and/or bring significant relevant experience working with children and families. Identify as Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander and have strong connections and established relationships within Aboriginal communities. Demonstrated experience working with Aboriginal families, with a deep understanding of culturally safe and responsive practice. Sound knowledge of child development, family functioning, parenting skills, and the impacts of child protection and crisis situations on children and families. Strong communication, relationship-building and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to work effectively across diverse communities and multidisciplinary teams. Highly organised with proven problem-solving, administrative and time management skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Windows-based applications.
