Senior Project Manager Research Data Governance Paying up to $1,100 per day super 12-Month Contract Camperdown - Hybrid Working We are partnering with a major Sydney-based university to secure an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead a portfolio of strategic research and data governance initiatives. This role will sit across complex, enterprise-wide programs focused on research systems, academic profiles, research data governance and integration-heavy technology environments. The successful candidate will operate within a fast-paced delivery environment managing multiple streams of work, senior stakeholders and vendor relationships. Key projects include major research platform initiatives and research data governance programs supporting enterprise-wide transformation across the university environment. Previous Higher Education experience is needed for this role. Key Responsibilities Lead end-to-end delivery of complex multi-stream projects across research and data governance domains Manage project delivery across Agile and Waterfall environments Drive stakeholder engagement across ICT, business, academic and research teams Coordinate project resources including Business Analysts, Architects, vendors and testing teams Manage reporting, financial tracking, governance, RAID activities and resource planning Oversee vendor and SaaS partner engagement Deliver integration-heavy projects across multiple platforms and stakeholders Support translation of research and data governance requirements into technical delivery outcomes About You 10 years’ Project Management experience delivering complex enterprise technology initiatives Strong experience within research, higher education and/or data governance environments Exposure to research lifecycle and research data lifecycle concepts Understanding of FAIR and CARE data principles highly regarded Proven experience managing large stakeholder groups across business and technology functions Strong governance, reporting and delivery management capability Experience with Jira, MS Project, Clarity and enterprise delivery toolsets Strong communication, influencing and stakeholder management skills Previous Higher Education experience is highly regarded Why Apply?
