Synergie is seeking Trades assitant for a leading waste management company located in Kemps Creek. Tenure is 3 months (could extend) Tenure: Ongoing for the right candidate Days & Hours: 5 days 8 hours. Possible more hours if needed Pay rate: $35.40 PH Duties: · Assist mechanics and technicians with maintenance, servicing, and repairs of earthmoving equipment (e.g., excavators, bulldozers, dump trucks). · Clean and prepare parts and equipment for repairs or inspections. · Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workshop and tools. · Operate basic hand and power tools under supervision. · Perform routine workshop tasks such as fluid top-ups, filter changes, machine fuelling and greasing. · Support stock control by receiving, storing, and retrieving parts and tools. · Follow all safety procedures and wear appropriate PPE. · Complete basic documentation and reporting as required Essential Licence or Qualifications: Car licence Forklift (desirable) Construction White Card (desirable) Desirable Experience: Previous experience in a mechanical or workshop environment preferred. Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn. Strong work ethic, punctuality, and a positive attitude. Ability to follow instructions and work well in a team environment. Physically fit and able to perform manual Labor.
