About the Role Join the team as an Import Operator managing predominantly Import Seafreight operations (approximately 90% sea freight) across a varied cargo profile. Working within a team of 6 and supporting a close-knit operations group, you will manage your own shipment portfolio from booking through to final delivery while working closely with customers, overseas agents, customs brokers and local transport providers. Duties & Responsibilities • Coordinate Import Seafreight operations across predominantly FCL with some LCL and Air movements • Manage international bookings and communication with overseas agents • Coordinate customs and broker handovers and arrange domestic cartage delivery • Monitor shipment milestones and maintain accurate CargoWise updates • Manage invoicing and operational administration • Support cargo automation and import processing requirements • Work collaboratively across the wider team to deliver excellent customer outcomes Skills & Experience • Freight Forwarding experience essential • Import Seafreight operational experience • CargoWise experience mandatory • Understanding of cartage and transport coordination • Strong customer service and stakeholder management skills • Knowledge of Incoterms and import processes • Comfortable working within a collaborative office environment Benefits • $75,000–$90,000 Super depending on experience • Unique southside Brisbane location • Mixed cargo exposure and operational variety • Supportive team environment with strong mentorship • Career growth and development opportunities • Immediate start available • Office-based role (5 days) to support training and collaboration Interested?
