We're seeking a Legal Secretary to join our team. Duties: Apply knowledge of legal terminology, procedures and documentation when supporting visa and migration-related matters. Provide administrative and secretarial support to legal professionals in the day-to-day operation of the practice. Prepare and review correspondence, reports and legal documents, and other business communications, ensuring accuracy and professional presentation. Coordinate meetings, appointments, and maintain schedules and diaries, and assist with meeting administration and record keeping. Manage incoming and outgoing communications, including mail, emails and telephone enquiries and client correspondence. Maintain filing systems, records and legal documentation in accordance with office procedures and compliance requirements. Liaise with clients, government authorities and external stakeholders to facilitate the exchange of information and documentation. Welcome visitors and assist with general client enquiries. Maintain records of meetings, discussions and administrative decisions, ensuring documentation is accurately stored and updated. Essential requirements Certificate III including at least two years of experience Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) About you Previous experience in a legal environment High attention to detail and excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to multitask and maintain confidentiality in a busy professional environment
