An opportunity has arisen for a well-connected, high energy, and motivated Business Development Manager to join our Melbourne sales team. We are looking for a disciplined sales professional with a track record of success in new client acquisition. In this role you will identify and qualify new sales opportunities, create compelling buying visions to address client needs, as well as lead the efforts in proposal and closure. What this role will entail: Engaging and developing relationships with customers and prospects. A focus on winning new business, while taking a strategic approach to developing clients across the territory. Identifying and qualifying opportunities for Nexon solutions. Delivering differentiated solution proposals to customers and prospects. Working closely with vendor sales reps to co-sell solutions as required. Manage the complete sales cycle, working with pre-sales and bid managers as needed. Developing and managing a pipeline of opportunities in our CRM platform. Meeting and exceeding sales targets and KPI’s. Must have requirements Minimum 8 years business development manager experience within the IT industry. A successful track record of strategic, solution-based selling across multiple technology domains. Be a seasoned sales professional with a hunter mentality A strong network of contacts with vendors and customers. Autonomous self-starter, goal oriented, focused on meeting sales target.
