Job Description Lead and deliver health and safety strategy initiatives, embedding a strong, proactive safety culture across the organisation Conduct inspections, audits and risk assessments to identify hazards and ensure effective control measures are in place Develop and maintain safety systems, policies and procedures aligned to legislative and best practice standards Partner with operational teams and contractors to drive compliance, improve safety performance and support safe delivery of works Investigate incidents and near misses, determine root causes and implement corrective and preventative actions Analyse safety data and trends to identify risks, track performance and inform continuous improvement initiatives Provide coaching, training and guidance to build capability and accountability for safety at all levels Support injury management and return to work processes, ensuring safe, timely and sustainable outcomes Maintain accurate safety documentation, reporting and compliance records while supporting audits and assurance activities The Successful Applicant A successful Safety Advisor should have: A relevant qualification in Workplace Health and Safety or a related field. Experience in safety advisory roles within the industrial/manufacturing sector. Strong knowledge of Australian safety regulations and compliance requirements. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with diverse teams. Problem-solving skills to address safety challenges effectively. Attention to detail and a proactive approach to identifying risks.
