Role Overview If you’re an enthusiastic, skilled Pit Technician with multiple years of experience working with gold, this position could be for you. Duties Conduct blast-hole and crusher sampling and dispatch samples to the on-site laboratory. Perform QA/QC reviews of laboratory assay results. Complete ore spotting, dig-face inspections, and ore mark-ups to maintain ore hygiene. Carry out stockpile inspections, reconciliations, and balances. Enter and validate material movement and truck data. Manage sampling equipment and consumables. Communicate and escalate variances or deviations from plan to relevant stakeholders. Undertake additional duties as required by the Technical Services team.
