The Opportunity Concierge Bayside is a relaxed independent retirement community set in the beachside suburb of Hampton East, just 14 km from Melbourne's CBD. Residents enjoy easy access to Brighton Beach, Hampton Street's vibrant café and dining scene, Westfield Southland, and Holmesglen Private Hospital and stunning parklands right on the doorstep. As a Service Coordinator you will provide key support and be a trusted friendly presence within the village, addressing resident requests, providing reception support for day-to-day needs, communal cleaning duties, site security, enquiries, and incident reporting. You’ll enjoy being part of a lively community and thrive in a role with variety and strong resident connection. With our villages operating around the clock, flexible availability is required, including overnight shifts. This is a casual role, helping our team on an ad-hoc basis with covering leave or when we need an extra pair of hands! Your Impact Supporting café and kitchen teams during meal services/events to create an enjoyable dining experience Provide general admin and concierge services to residents Be the first responder to any village issues that arise including emergency calls, safety & security issues and providing first aid where needed Providing all‑rounder support across the village, including communal domestic cleaning duties and maintaining shared spaces to a high standard Assisting with administrative tasks such as creating resident newsletters, event flyers and helping communicate activities and updates What you will bring Experience delivering great customer service in a community‑focused environment (e.g. background in hospitality, retail, aged care or administration) A welcoming and dependable nature, with confidence working autonomously Flexibility to assist with ad hoc duties across the village, including amenities upkeep, food and beverage support, and basic admin tasks Confidence and responsibility to manage incidents and support residents in an emergency during overnight stays Adaptable and flexible with rostering and shift arrangements as we staff our communities 24 hours a day Current First Aid & CPR Certificate (or willingness to obtain prior to employment) Current COVID-19 Vaccinations up-to-date (required) What we offer $36.20/hr including casual loading superannuation relevant award entitlements including penalty rates, overtime and allowances Employee Referral Program and Employee Assistance Program Discounts to Health Insurance and Retail & Leisure partner providers Annual flu vaccinations and skin checks The opportunity to build meaningful, lasting relationships with residents and contribute to our retirement community Sleepover accommodation, allowance and amenities provided (if you stay overnight) Opportunities to pick up additional shifts at our neighboring villages Who we are As a leader in retirement living, with 30 years' experience, Aveo provides the stability and confidence to try new things and keep innovating.
