HC Driver - Bowen The Role Toll People are seeking experienced HC Drivers for a container transport role based out of Bowen, delivering to surrounding regional areas. This is an ongoing opportunity offering consistent work, with the potential for additional shifts based on operational needs. 3-5 days per week (Monday, Wednesday and Friday guaranteed) Additional shifts on Tuesday, Thursday or Saturday for leave coverage Start time: Typically around 8:00am Average 8 hours per day with potential overtime Saturday shifts: Generally 4-6 hours $44.25 Super Overtime after 7.6 hours Fleet consists mainly of modern automatic Volvo trucks Key Responsibilities Delivering freight from Bowen to surrounding areas including Collinsville, Cannonvale, Airlie Beach and Proserpine Ensuring safe and timely delivery of consignments Conducting pre-start and safety vehicle checks Maintaining high standards of safety and compliance Skills & Experience Must hold a HC Licence Ability to provide driving history report Forklift licence Highly Desirable Previous container or freight delivery experience highly regarded Strong understanding of safe driving practices and Chain of Responsibility Reliable, flexible and able to work additional shifts when required Good communication and time management skills About Toll People Toll People are Australia's most recognised provider of Transport, Logistics, Supply Chain and Warehouse staff.
