BMS Estimator / Controls Tendering Engineer Building Automation | HVAC Controls | Commercial Projects A well-established BMS systems integrator is looking for a BMS Estimator / Tendering Engineer to support their growing pipeline of commercial and infrastructure projects. This role suits someone with controls, BMS, HVAC or electrical building services experience who enjoys reviewing drawings, performing system take-offs and developing accurate pricing for automation systems. You will work closely with engineering and delivery teams to develop technically accurate BMS tenders and system scopes. What You'll Be Doing Reviewing mechanical, electrical and BMS specifications Completing detailed BMS system take-offs Pricing controllers, panels, field devices and integrations Preparing technical tender submissions Coordinating supplier and subcontractor pricing Identifying scope gaps and technical risks Supporting project teams during tender handover Systems & Technology Projects include: Datacenters Hospitals Commercial Buildings Labs and universities What We're Looking For You may come from a background such as: BMS Engineer Controls Engineer HVAC Controls Technician BMS Project Engineer Electrical / Mechatronics Engineer BMS Estimator You should have: Experience with BMS, HVAC or building automation systems Ability to read mechanical and electrical drawings Experience performing system take-offs or project pricing ideal Why This Role Strong pipeline of commercial and infrastructure projects Established and technically respected BMS integrator Collaborative engineering environment Long-term career stability Working on projects the involve the biggest brands in the industry, Schneider, Siemens, Tridium, Niagra What You'll Bring 2-5 years' experience in BMS / HVAC sales, estimating, tendering or engineering related field Strong working knowledge of Distech Controls and/or Tridium Niagara Solid understanding of BMS integration, programming and commissioning fundamentals Proven ability to win work and maintain long-term client relationships Strong commercial acumen and tendering best practice knowledge Confidence engaging consultants and Tier 1 contractors If you can sit in front of a consultant and genuinely add value - technically and commercially - you'll thrive here.
