PALISTHA CAFE – FULL-TIME CHEF REQUIRED Sunbury VIC 3429 Palistha Cafe is seeking a qualified and experienced Chef to join our busy café in Sunbury, Melbourne on a full-time basis. Duties and Responsibilities: • Preparing and cooking a variety of café-style meals including breakfast, burgers, brunch dishes, salads, and other menu items • Assisting with menu planning and development • Monitoring food quality, presentation, and portion control • Managing kitchen operations during busy service periods • Maintaining food safety and hygiene standards • Ordering and monitoring stock and kitchen supplies • Supervising and assisting kitchen staff as required Skills and Experience Required: • Minimum Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery or equivalent qualification • At least 2 years of relevant work experience as a Chef • Strong knowledge of modern café cuisine • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment • Good communication and teamwork skills Position Details: • Position: Chef • Employment Type: Full-time • Salary: AUD $73,000 – $78,000 plus superannuation • Location: 77 O’Shanassy St, Sunbury VIC 3429 How to apply: Please send your CV and cover letter to: palisthacafe@gmail.com Australian citizens and permanent residents will be prioritised.
