Civil Labourer / Multi-Skilled Operator We are looking for a reliable and safety-focused candidate Join our dynamic team as a Civil Labourer / Multi-Skilled Operator, working across both labouring and plant operation duties including operating Excavators and Telehandlers within an active civil construction environment. About the Role As a critical member of our team, you will be involved in a variety of civil construction activities including, but not limited to: - General civil labouring duties - Operating Excavators and Telehandlers - Assisting with earthworks and site preparation - Loading, unloading, and moving materials - Working around underground services and live construction activities - Supporting supervisors and project crews as required - Maintaining a safe and productive work environment Skills and Experience To thrive in this role, you should possess the following: - Previous Experience: Demonstrable experience within civil construction projects. - Excavator Operating Experience: Efficient in utilizing Excavators. - Telehandler Ticket & Operating Experience: Certified and experienced in Telehandler operations. - Construction White Card: An essential requirement. - Current Driver's Licence & Reliable Transport: Ensures reliable and timely attendance at work. - Strong Understanding of Workplace Health and Safety: Commitment to safety in all work practices. - Team Environment: Ability to work collaboratively within diverse and inclusive team settings. - Physical Fitness: Capacity to perform labor-intensive duties as needed. - Pre-employment Medical and Drug & Alcohol Screening: Ability to pass necessary checks. Highly Regarded While not essential, the following qualifications will be beneficial: - Additional Machinery Tickets: Enhanced capability for various operations. - HR or MR Driver's Licence: Additional driving credentials. - Experience on Roads, Renewable Energy or Infrastructure Projects: Broad expertise in related fields. - GPS Machine Experience: Familiarity with technologically advanced machinery. - First Aid Certification: Valued for enhancing onsite safety and responsiveness.
