You will be engaging with key internal stakeholders, including senior managers and Program Managers. Key responsibilities include: Assist with month-end processes, journals and reconciliations Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and support financial reporting Support funding, compliance and acquittal reporting requirements Support process improvement and systems enhancement initiatives Assist with budgeting and reporting activities Work collaboratively with internal stakeholders across multiple business units Contribute to documentation, process improvement and continuous improvement initiatives Provide backup support for payroll processing Your Profile: Progress towards CPA or CA qualification will be highly regarded Experience in an Assistant Accountant, Finance Officer, Financial Accountant or similar role Strong understanding of accounting fundamentals including accrual accounting, journals and reconciliations Ability to communicate confidently with non-finance stakeholders Strong attention to detail and commitment to meeting deadlines Positive attitude and willingness to learn Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking capability Experience with ERP or finance systems and process improvement initiatives will be highly regarded Payroll exposure or willingness to learn payroll processes to be a backup to the payroll officers will be key.
