The role: We are currently recruiting two positions within our Intellectual Property, Technology and Regulatory team based in Adelaide. We are looking for experienced IP/IT Lawyers with 2-5 years' PAE. If successful, you will be working primarily with our Adelaide and Sydney IPTR Partners in a significant dedicated team across Intellectual Property, technology, telecommunications and major procurement matters for a client base that includes large listed companies, overseas based suppliers, government agencies, local subsidiaries of multi-national companies and dynamic Australian businesses. Your skills, experience & interest: Ideally, you will have 2-5 years' post admission experience in a general commercial law practice with: Experience with reviewing and drafting contracts Exposure to a range of commercial transactions Excellent attention to detail A willingness and ability to understand clients' commercial needs and objectives and provide solutions at law to achieve these Strong legal analysis and the ability to apply problem solving skills to varied situations The ability to provide sound, pragmatic and innovative legal advice to the firm's corporate clients Experience in dealing directly with clients and working autonomously Excellent written and verbal communication skills A desire to learn and be challenged and stimulated by your work Experience in IT law will be well regarded, but is not essential. Applicants with strong, general commercial experience and a genuine interest in and enthusiasm for IT law will be considered.
