The Role Reporting to the Gymnastics Coordinator, the Gymnastic Coach will develop programs and instruct a variety of levels in gymnastic classes in a safe, positive and fun environment for participants. You will encourage children to engage in a positive fun environment that encourages inclusion whilst always maintaining a duty care for the children participating in the classes. You will also have excellent verbal communication skills as you will provide parents/guardians positive and practical feedback. Intermediate or Advanced Gymnastics Accreditation is preferred. Training will be provided for Intermediate coach to gain additional accreditation/s. You will be required to coach both Recreational (beginner to advanced) and Competitive classes with levels dependent on accreditation. Start immediately, currently shifts available; Mon-Fri: 9am-1pm & 4pm-8pm, Sat: 8am-1pm, Sun: As Required. Skills & Attributes: You must love working with kids and making a positive impact on their lives Energetic people skills Enthusiasm and a passion for developing others Friendly and open communicator A results focused team player An understanding of the value of physical literacy and the need to be active through gymnastics activities Intermediate/Advanced or equivalent - Gymnastics Coach Accreditation Current First Aid (Desirable) Current CPR (Desirable) Working with Children Check A wiliness to undertake a Police Check clearance upon on-boarding The Site The centre is located in Caroline Springs and is a new purpose built facility! BK’s offers a variety of programs that are designed to create a fun interactive learning pathway to help every child progress from a beginner, to an intermediate or advanced gymnast. The centre has brand new equipment and includes heating and cooling for the warmer and cooler months.
