Position overview Employment Type: Full time (80 hours per fortnight), On going position Location: Camperdown Campus Classification: Administration Grade 4 Salary Range: $83,657.60 - $92,482.00 pro rata, plus superannuation About the role South West Healthcare is seeking an experienced and motivated Manager Operations and Support Services to join the leadership team at Camperdown Hospital. This key leadership position plays a vital role in supporting the delivery of safe, high-quality healthcare services across the Camperdown and Lismore campuses. Working within a regional health service that is deeply connected to its community, you will lead a diverse portfolio of support services including Facilities Management, Administration, Environmental Services, Food Services and Radiology. The role is responsible for ensuring hospital infrastructure, building services and support operations remain safe, compliant and efficient, enabling clinical teams to deliver exceptional patient care. What you bring To be successful in this role, you will be an experienced leader with a strong background in operational, facilities, or support service management. You will bring a collaborative approach, sound judgement, and the ability to effectively manage diverse teams and competing priorities within a complex environment. You will also have: A trade qualification, management qualification, or equivalent relevant experience or experience as kitchen head. Demonstrated knowledge of building maintenance, compliance requirements, and regulatory frameworks, ideally within a healthcare or similarly regulated environment. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities, work under pressure, and consistently meet deadlines. Proven leadership capabilities, with experience motivating, developing, and supporting multidisciplinary teams. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive working relationships across all levels of an organisation.
