Join our newest flagship day hospital Little Edward Day Hospital is Monash IVF Group’s newest flagship day hospital, located in Spring Hill and scheduled to open in late July 2026. Purpose-built around the patient experience, this world-class facility will support a range of surgical specialties, including gynaecology and IVF. We’re seeking a caring, organised and service-focused Day Hospital Administrator who is passionate about making a meaningful difference for patients and their families. In this role, you’ll help create a calm, professional and welcoming experience from the moment patients arrive, supporting them through an important stage of their healthcare journey. As one of the first people patients meet, you’ll play a key role in the smooth running of each day. Your empathy, attention to detail and exceptional customer service will help support patients undergoing fertility and gynaecology procedures. Part-time opportunities are available with variable shifts between 6.00am and 5.00pm. A day in the role may include: Welcoming patients, families and visitors as their first point of contact Responding to calls, emails and patient enquiries with care, discretion and professionalism Coordinating patient bookings, admission paperwork and day-to-day patient flow Completing health fund checks and supporting billing, receipting, banking and reconciliation tasks Maintaining accurate patient records in FYDO with strong attention to detail Providing administrative support to clinical, operational and leadership teams Delivering a high standard of service so patients feel informed, supported and cared for. About you You’re calm, compassionate and highly organised, with a genuine commitment to creating a positive patient experience. You communicate thoughtfully and promptly, and you understand the importance of accuracy, discretion and outstanding service in a healthcare setting. Ideally, you’ll bring: Experience in health administration, ideally in a day hospital, specialist practice or similar healthcare environment Knowledge of medical terminology, private health funds, medical billing and receipting A warm, professional telephone manner and the ability to support patients with sensitivity and clarity Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office, with FYDO experience highly regarded Excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities in a busy setting Confidence working independently and contributing positively within a multidisciplinary team A willingness to live the Monash IVF Group principles: Care, Collaborate, Communicate, Commit and Create Why join Monash IVF Group?
