DELTA F & B PTY LTD (Noodle Box Glenelg & Marryatville) is seeking a talented and qualified Cooks to join our passionate team. This is a full-time opportunity for individuals committed to creating exceptional dishes and leading a busy kitchen environment. Qualifications & experience At least Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or Higher ( Cert IV in Kitchen Management ; and Diploma in Hospitality Management) Proven experience as a Cook in a fast-paced kitchen environment for at least 1-2 years. Exceptional attention to detail and a deep passion for the culinary arts. Ability to thrive under pressure while efficiently managing multiple tasks. Key Responsibilities: Preparing, seasoning, and cooking a variety of menu items in accordance with established recipes and business standards Undertaking mise en place activities, including portioning, chopping, marinating, and preparing ingredients for service Monitoring cooking processes and regulating temperatures of ovens, grills, fryers, and other kitchen equipment to ensure optimal results Ensuring all dishes are prepared and presented to a consistently high standard in line with customer expectations and business requirements Inspecting raw and finished food items to ensure quality, freshness, and compliance with food safety standards Managing food storage, stock rotation, and labelling in accordance with food safety regulations to minimise waste and spoilage Monitoring stock levels and assisting in ordering supplies to support uninterrupted kitchen operations Maintaining a clean, safe, and hygienic kitchen environment in compliance with HACCP and workplace health and safety requirements Coordinating with other kitchen staff and front-of-house team members to ensure timely and accurate service delivery Assisting in menu planning, including suggesting improvements based on customer preferences and operational efficiency Following all workplace policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements, including food safety and hygiene standards Why Join Us: Enjoy the security of a full-time position with a well-established and growing brand.
