Your role as our Manager for Specialist Disability Accommodation Services In this role you will provide day‑to‑day operational leadership of allocated SDA service(s), ensuring high‑quality, customer‑centred supports aligned with Wesley Mission Queensland (WMQ) policies, processes and strategic direction. This role provides frontline leadership to staff and directly supports the achievement of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) across operational excellence, financial stewardship, team leadership and workforce management, governance, compliance and customer outcomes. Key responsibilities of this role include: Leading the day-to-day operations of a designed SDA site/s, ensuring safe, efficient and high-quality service delivery. Implementing actions aligned to participant profiles and service KPIs, and drive continuous improvement across your service/s. Contributing to the preparation of the budget and service plans on an annual basis for the service and be accountable to achieve budgeted revenue and costs. Monitoring service expenditure to ensure budget alignment, support financial targets through roster efficiency and cost control, and escalate and manage variances and corrective actions. Supporting the recruitment, induction, retention, and ongoing performance of quality staff, ensuring annual reviews are completed and mandatory training requirements are met. Ensuring compliance with NDIS Practice Standards, HSQF, WMQ Policies, or other relevant legislative or regulatory standards. Develop, maintain and strengthen relationships with participants, their families, and other stakeholders. What We’re Looking For Background and experience in overseeing/managing service provision to people with a disability and/or people with complex medical support requirements. Completed tertiary qualifications in a related field. Capacity to work with a team environment to develop supports and/or support services around the needs of people with disabilities, particularly relating to their needs and wants. Knowledge and success in leading a group of multi-disciplinary staff. Ability to work within financial parameters, including taking responsibility for the preparation and achievement of budgets and KPI / Benchmark reporting. Highly developed interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills, including strong networking and influencing skills with the ability to effectively lead and manage diverse internal and external stakeholder requirements.
