We are currently seeking a Claims Administrator to join a well-established insurance business on a 12-month fixed-term contract, with a strong view to permanency based on performance. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong administration and customer service experience who is looking to build a long-term career within the insurance industry. About the Role Working as the central support person within the Claims team, you will play a critical role in ensuring claims are prepared, processed and managed efficiently. You will provide day-to-day support to six Claims Assessors and a Senior Claims Assessor, acting as the key link between customers, brokers and the assessor team. This is a fast-paced, process-driven environment where attention to detail, organisation and the ability to multitask are essential. Some key responsibilities include: Registering new claims and maintaining accurate records Requesting and following up outstanding claim documentation Liaising with claimants, brokers, medical providers and other stakeholders Responding to customer enquiries and providing updates throughout the claims process Managing diaries, appointments and claim-related administration Supporting the assessment team with investigations and claim preparation About You Previous administration and customer service experience Strong customer service and stakeholder management skills Excellent written and verbal communication abilities Exceptional attention to detail Strong organisational and time management skills The ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously A proactive and adaptable approach to work The ability to remain calm and efficient under pressure Previous claims/insurance experience will be highly regarded but is not essential.
