We are AMES Australasia. Want to join us? Your Role Join our Inventory and Supply Chain team as a Supply Planner and play a key role in keeping our products moving and our customers happy. Reporting to the Supply Planning Supervisor, this 12-month full-time fixed-term opportunity is perfect for a proactive, analytical supply chain professional who enjoys solving problems, working with global suppliers, and driving continuous improvement. In this role, you'll have the opportunity to make a real impact by optimising inventory, improving supplier performance, and collaborating with teams across the business. What You'll Be Doing Take ownership of end-to-end supply planning, ensuring products are available when and where they're needed. Build strong relationships with local and international suppliers to keep deliveries on track and resolve challenges proactively. Use data and insights to optimise inventory levels, reduce supply risks, and improve working capital outcomes. Partner with Procurement, Sales, Customer Service, Warehouse, and Finance teams to support business priorities and deliver great customer outcomes. Identify opportunities to streamline processes, improve reporting, and enhance planning accuracy. Turn data into meaningful insights through inventory analysis, reporting, and business recommendations. What You'll Bring At least 2 years' experience in Supply Planning, Inventory Planning, or a similar Supply Chain role. A solid understanding of inventory management, supply planning, and supplier relationship management. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail. Excellent communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships across teams and with suppliers. Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, lookups, formulas, and data analysis. Experience with ERP systems such as Pronto Xi (highly regarded). Qualifications in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or a related field will be viewed favourably.
