Description Full-Time Head Veterinary Nurse Vets @ Acacia Gardens We are seeking an experienced and motivated Head Veterinary Nurse to join and lead our dedicated team at Vets @ Acacia Gardens. About the Role As Head Vet Nurse, you will play a key leadership role in the daily running of the clinic, supporting both clinical and non-clinical operations. You will work closely with our veterinarians and nursing team to ensure high standards of patient care, workflow efficiency, and team development. Key Responsibilities Lead, support, and mentor the nursing team Oversee daily clinic nursing workflows and patient care standards Coordinate surgical and hospitalised patient management Ensure best-practice anaesthesia monitoring and peri-operative care Maintain inventory, ordering, and stock control systems Assist with staff training, onboarding, and performance support Collaborate with vets to improve clinical protocols and efficiency Deliver exceptional client communication and education About You Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing (or equivalent) Minimum 3–5 years’ clinical experience (leadership experience highly regarded) Strong surgical and anaesthesia monitoring skills Confident in mentoring and supporting a team Excellent communication and organisational abilities Calm under pressure with a proactive, solutions-focused mindset Passionate about high-quality patient care and team culture What We Offer Full-time stable position in a growing, supportive clinic Leadership role with genuine autonomy and input Friendly, collaborative team environment Opportunities for continuing education and professional development Competitive salary based on experience Varied and engaging caseload in a well-equipped general practice Why Join Us?
