As an Insurance Adviser, you will be the first point of contact for clients seeking guidance on their insurance needs. You'll provide general advice, prepare quotes, manage policy enquiries, and support customers through the insurance process with professionalism, empathy, and care. Key Responsibilities Provide general advice to clients regarding home and personal insurance products. Respond to enquiries from clients, insurers, and stakeholders via phone, email, and written correspondence. Prepare quotations and process new policies, renewals, amendments, and cancellations in line with service and underwriting guidelines. Conduct policy reviews and follow-up activities within required timeframes. Assist customers in understanding their insurance options and making informed decisions. Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with established procedures and standards. Participate in a national phone roster between 8:00am and 7:00pm. Support business improvement initiatives and contribute to team performance goals. Provide administrative and operational support to senior team members as required. About You: Experience in customer service, insurance, financial services, banking, contact centres, or a related environment. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Excellent written communication and attention to detail. The ability to manage competing priorities and work within service timeframes. Strong problem-solving and relationship management skills. A commitment to delivering quality customer outcomes. Australian Citizenship is essential. Highly Regarded Previous experience in insurance, underwriting, claims, broking, or policy administration. Tier 1 Insurance qualification or willingness to undertake further insurance training. Experience supporting vulnerable customers or clients experiencing challenging circumstances.
