CLASSIFICATION: Registered Nurse ANUM yr 1-2 (YW11 - YW12) QUALIFICATIONS: Essential: Registered Nurse - current registration with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency 3 to 5 years’ experience in clinical area of application Desirable : Demonstrated team and Leadership Training Current First Line Emergency Care (FLEC) / ALS qualifications or equivalent – Acute Unit First Line emergency care skills Experience in Palliative Care. Relevant experience at Person Centered Care and problem solving skills at an advance level KEY SELECTION CRITERIA: Desirable to have or working towards managerial qualifications i.e. short courses or graduate certificate Demonstrated leadership ability with a clear understanding of the managerial responsibilities of an Associate Nurse Unit Manager Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and consultatively as part of a multidisciplinary team Ability to communicate effectively and appropriately with all major stakeholders both internal and external Ability to problem solve and make decisions in a variety of complex situations Demonstrated knowledge of professional standards of practice, legal and ethical requirements and industrial relations Demonstrated knowledge of organizational change management principles and ability to support staff through the change management process Demonstrated ability to use Information Communications Technology Ability to identify opportunities for quality improvement and process redesign and to support/coach staff in the implementation of these activities MORE INFORMATION: All employment with Yarrawonga Health is subject to and conditional upon a satisfactory Police Check and Victorian 'Employee' Working with Children's Check.
