Join a major civil contractor in South East QLD Full time permanent role start ASAP About Our Client Our client is an end-to-end civil construction company. Based in South-East Queensland and the Darling Downs, they specialize in heavy construction, bulk earthworks, and underground infrastructure for residential, commercial, and mining sectors. What You Will Be Doing As a Pipelayer, your duties will include Install stormwater, sewer, water, and drainage pipelines to project specifications. Read and interpret civil construction drawings, service plans, and set-out information. Lay and join PVC, HDPE, concrete, and reinforced concrete pipes. Complete trench preparation, pipe bedding, backfilling, and compaction works. Install pits, manholes, culverts, headwalls, and other drainage structures. Conduct laser level and grade checks to ensure accurate pipe placement. Work alongside operators and labourers to complete pipe installation safely and efficiently. Complete pre-starts, safety documentation, site reporting, and maintain housekeeping standards. Shift Structure Monday to Friday 6:30am to 5pm What is Required Drivers Licence reliable transport White construction card Previous experience in above duties! Ability to read and interpret construction plans and levels Able to work autonomously and lead a crew Cert III Pipelaying highly desirable Confined Spaces and Gas Test Atmosphere tickets highly desirable RII Excavator, RII Roller and RII Loader highly desirable MR or HR Drivers license highly desirable Reliability and good work ethic Whats In It For You?
