Location: Perth, WA Rate: Competitive (dependent on experience) Type: Contract Duration: Initial 12 month contract Hours: Monday to Friday About the Role We are seeking a motivated HSE Graduate Officer to support health, safety, and environmental functions across projects and operations. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate to gain hands-on experience across compliance, risk management, incident investigation, and environmental performance within a structured and supportive team environment. Key Responsibilities Support HSE compliance with legislation, standards, and company policies Assist with internal and external audits and track corrective actions Participate in risk assessments, hazard identification, and safety inspections Assist in incident reporting, data collection, and investigation processes Track corrective and preventive actions to ensure timely closure Coordinate HSE training records, inductions, and competency tracking Support safety culture initiatives including toolbox talks and awareness campaigns Maintain HSE documentation, registers, and reporting systems Assist in environmental monitoring including waste, emissions, and compliance reporting Prepare HSE reports, dashboards, and performance metrics Mandatory Requirements Recent (or near completion) tertiary qualification in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, or related discipline Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail Strong written and verbal communication skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel Ability to work collaboratively across teams Preferred 0–2 years’ experience in HSE, including internships or graduate roles Exposure to oil & gas, marine, construction, or heavy industry environments Basic understanding of Australian HSE regulations Willingness to learn risk assessment and incident investigation methodologies For more information about this opportunity, please click APPLY or contact Fab on or via email on DRD Group is a specialist recruitment provider renowned for recruiting quality project teams on major projects within the Energy, Resources, Defense, Renewables and Infrastructure sectors.
